Eric's Review:
GAMEPLAY: 6.1
It’s a bit confusing at first, until I found the first switch that opened up a new area. There are switches that you have to flip in order to undue what’s behind the trapdoor, to get to the next sector, but I managed to flip and run, not having to waste ammo on unnecessary targets. On UV, there isn’t a whole lot in the way of enemies, but there’s enough to keep you busy and bruised.
DESIGN: 6.4
Aside from the somewhat confusing layout, the map works pretty well. I just hate the switch setup, which had me scratching my head for a moment or two. Once the first zone opens up, the map flowed better. As for supplies, there’s just enough, which I like. It makes for a tense run and a feeling of urgency in ammo conservation. No real big baddies here; the largest will be the Baron, who will appear a couple of times in UV. You can out maneuver some of these demons, to get reach the next area, so don’t be so quick to scrap!
REPLAYABILITY: 5.4
This is another ‘once and done’ map. You can always go back to find any secrets (I didn’t find any) and try beating your time. I’m sure there are secrets in this map, but I was so focused on the main mission of getting out of it, I didn’t bother looking.
OVERALL: 6.3
