- Here is a compilation of the 9 single player wads
made by Michael Reed, between 1995 and 1996.
- I made it for Doom Legacy Wads (aka DLW) on 22/avr./2004 19:25

What I made, apart the compilation:
- Originally Map13, Metro13 was remapped Map05.
- These wads are sorted by date of release.
So that, "The Keep", made on May 22, 1995, is the Map01, and
"The Villa of Pain", made lastly on September 16, 1996, is
  the last one, Map09.
- I found the wads and the comments here:
  Michaël Reed Doom2 page: http://home.att.net/~m.reed/doom2/
- I built the dehacked file "M_Reed_Stuff.deh" for the names of the levels.
It's already included within the Pwad for the Doom Legacy users.
- Map02 (the core): I made changes on the sectors 98 & 99,
  otherwise you can be trapped.
- Map04: I had to align the textures of the final room (223)
- Map05: (linedef 1013) the texture was on the first sidedef,
            instead of the second one...
I deleted the tag 9 (secret room) for sectors 427 & 428, which
are already within secret rooms. There was no need to have it.

Level 1: The Keep (May 22, 1995)
The wind stirs your hair as you stare up at the massive fortress.
You must find a way into The Keep. Once inside, your objective is
to battle the monsters within its walls and find a way to...blah..blah..blah...
HEY if you wanted to hear all this Medieval crap, you'd be playing Heretic!
Just get in there and kill! 91.0k
Featured on Magazine's February 1998 CD ROM.

Level 2: The Core (July 23, 1995)
You get an urgent message to report for duty. It seems that the baddies
have built another base to launch another attack on your beloved home.
Of course, you're the only man for the job! (Aren't you getting tired of
this scenario?) You grab your weapons, shoulder your pack, and head for
your ship. Once you make it to the enemy base, your job is simple.
Battle your way into their stronghold and find the main reactor room.
Shut down The Core, and escape from the base.
         See, simple! Ha. 106.8k

Level 3: The Rabbit Hole (July 24, 1995)
You begin this level staring at the exit. The only thing that separates
you from freedom is a set of red bars. Unfortunately, you don't have the key!
Behind you is a hole that drops into the depths of the earth. Your job is to
enter this enormous underground cesspool of evil and come out alive.
Can you do it? Probably not. But down into the "rabbit hole" you go.
HEY! This ain't no "Alice in Wonderland" baby! 86.5k

Level 4: Hotel Hell (July 24, 1995)
You just arrived at the Hotel Hell. An Imp greets you at the front desk
with a fire ball, while a Cacodeamon eats your luggage. It's going to be
a long night. Battle your way through this level while you explore the
large guest lobby, a bar, cafeteria, and indoor swimming pool
(complete with fungus!) Don't forget to visit your room!
Eventually you'll have to go down in the basement where things get really
interesting. Can you escape from this vacation nightmare?
While you're staying here, remember to sign up for "Hotel Hell's Priority Club"
where you can earn points for discounts on rooms and ammo. 90.8k
Featured on Magazine's August 1996 CD ROM.

Level 5: Metro13 (September 01, 1995)
You used to live in a nice apartment in a nice part of the city, but things
have changed. You probably should have become suspicious when that Baron of
Hell became your landlord. Now when you go out on the streets, bullets and
fireballs whiz by your head. (And you thought New Yorkers were rude!)
Well soldier, it's time to clean up this town!
You start the level in your one room apartment. You've got to battle your way
through the city and mop up the mess. Clean out the vermin that have infested
the buildings in your neighborhood. The only way to escape this hell is to
find the underground train station. Get your ass on that train and get out of town!
Time's a wasting - so get out there and paint the town Red! With blood! 85.8k
Featured on Magazine's February 1998 CD ROM.

Level 6: Hoover Dam (September 23, 1995)
The monsters have taken over one of our most prized national landmarks.
The Hoover Dam has been infested with hell-spawn and it's your job to
clean house! Battle your way up and down canyon ledges and caves in this
very large, very detailed level. You'll want to stop and enjoy the view as
you look up at the majestic Hoover Dam. Just don't stand still too long or
you'll be toast! Your final objective is to get to the top of the dam and
stop the baddies before they blow it up. Are you up to the task? 90.2k
Featured on Magazine's December 1995 & July 1996 CD ROMs.

Level 7: The Bleeding Tower Of Pisa (November 28, 1995)
Another piece of human history has been desecrated by those ruthless
Hell-spawned monsters. The Bleeding Tower Of Pisa is an affront to
everyone on Earth and they've called you in to set things right.
First, you must find a way into the tower. Then clean up the mess,
floor by floor. When you've collected the keys, and "taken out the trash",
head to the basement for the final showdown.
Remember: in the Bleeding Tower Of Pisa, blood will flow.
Try not to let it be yours! 131.0k
Featured on Magazine's October 1996 CD ROM.

Level 8: Level Uno Redux (January 12, 1996)
You and your friends decide to start a new Cooperative DOOM match.
Your transporter pad is malfunctioning and you arrive at Level Uno
several seconds after them. But wait! All three of them are already dead!
The Baddies got 'em that fast! Now it's up to you. With revenge on your mind,
and a shotgun in your hands, you set out alone against a horde of monsters
that four of you were needed to defeat! Good Luck. You'll need it.
Great for single or co-op play! 91.7k

Level 9: The Villa of Pain (September 16, 1996)
The "Villa of Pain" awaits. The monsters have infested this quaint
country villa. The owners called Terminix and Orkin, but the Imps just
ate the guys they sent out. Now they've called you in. You begin in the
courtyard and must figure out a way into the building. Once inside, your
mission is simple: destroy everything in your path.
It's time for you to clean house!
And bring a mop, there'll be plenty of blood. 80.6k
Featured on Magazine's December 1996 CD ROM.
