What can I tell you? I think Ray ranks right up there as one of the best map builders there is. He always produces a fun, quality map. You won't be disappointed!

Ray, aka Shitbag, uses various traps - in many cases simply long distance shooters, to keep the player low on health. He also uses the appearing/disappearing creature trick quite a bit. Overall, I didn't find the map overly difficult but I was caught out several times by traps. They are unpredictable to say the least. Certainly not the most difficult map that Ray has created but it's no walk in the park.

I never get bored with Rays maps. Once through is never enough...


Level Design -  rating: 9

As per usual, this is the greatest strength of Rays map. The intricacy of the detail here is astounding. Take some time to look around in between battles. It is unbelievable how realistic Ray can render a map. It's kind of scary really. Every minute detail seems to be taken care of here. The atmosphere isn't exactly tense. I didn't think the music really worked well with this map but that is the only downside to the design - the music. Just seemed wrong for the map. By the way, the new sprites and such really do lend themselves to this map. Well done...
